Intern
Madison Kemling - Counselor In Training
My name is Madie Kemling, and I am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Chadron State College. I am slated to finish my degree and start the licensure process in December 2026. I graduated from Tabor College in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and again in 2022 with a Master's degree in Ministry Entrepreneurship and Innovation. After working in the child welfare system for two years, I decided to pursue my calling in mental health and counseling.
Our mental health is just as important as our physical health, and you are taking the first courageous step towards wellness. As your counselor, I will encourage and welcome vulnerability through open and honest communication, genuine interactions, and specialized interventions that fit you and your needs. I hope to specialize in treating clients with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, postpartum issues, relationship and boundary conflicts, and other mental health challenges. I have previous experience working with children and adolescents, specifically victims of child abuse and trauma. I will use strengths-based approaches, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy, to help you identify your challenges, set goals, and make progress. No matter what brings you to my door, there is space for you. We’re all on a journey and I am so happy that you have chosen me to be a part of yours!
